  1. What a bunch of great exercises, Christine! Thanks for sharing! I do think it’s interesting how people are becoming more interested in using photos/pictures to explore ideas like leadership and self. Not that that hasn’t been going on for a while, but I’ve noticed much more of an interest. I wonder if it’s related to some of what Dan Pink talks about in A Whole New Mind when he discusses how in a world of abundance we need things like synthesis and story-telling. I also suspect it’s related to how there’s a greater emphasis on visual design in so many aspects of our lives now. Or am I just imagining all of this? :-)

  2. No, I do notice there has been a lot more information and interest in the visual side of the world. Many factors have converged:

    1. The web, daily immersion in a visual interface,
    2. Writers like Pink, Richard Florida, Malcolm Gladwell bringing appreciation of the creative and intuitive to the mainstream,
    3. Research showing emotional intelligence is just as important,
    4. More visual tools being created and becoming available,
    5. The need to deliver more faster.
