Some people can design new products and continue to communicate with others at the same time. Clearly, that is not me. I’m not even sure how they do it. I design visually. No surprise. But translating that creative high level overview into words takes a lot of time. It also stops a lot of my creative juice. I decided to just accept it and live deep in my creative cave for a while.
Just letting you know, it will all start to emerge soon…..
Can you design and stay in touch at the same time?
If so , how do you do it? Have any tips?

I love your peeping out painting! That’s about how I feel when I’m in the midst of busy times. For me though, I do best if I *do* make the effort to peek out. Otherwise I get bogged down. For me the peeping out is about asking for help on the things that need to get done that I can delegate, so I can concentrate on the things only I can do. Visiting from CED
Alissa,
Thanks for visiting. I do think you are right in having to monitor the balance between hiding and asking for help! There are so many details and decisions to make, it easy to get trapped in feeling I have to do it alone.
Christine! I love your artwork! This piece brings a smile to my face because it reminds me of a couple things — so often we are so busy doing what we are doing, we forget to take a look around and just savor the moment, its a reminder to get present. It also evokes a sense of turtle steps, like the turtle, you try something new, stick your head out, get a vibe for the response, looks good, take a step or not so good, retreat into shell, back to drawing board — either way you’ve put yourself out there and are gaining knowledge about yourself and your environement. Thank you for sharing your work and peeking out of your cave!
Lisa, Thank you for the compliment and reflection. I have felt like a turtle, plodding along doing all the little pieces. And– I need to look up regularly, and like Alissa mentioned, ask for help when necessary.
