Daily Monsters!

Daily Monsters is an Ipad app from Stefan Butcher. He’s an artist that starts out each day by blowing a pool of ink into a blot pattern, then making it into a monster.

With the ipad app, you can use the provided parts to add to your digital ink blots. It is a total blast, and a great way to warm up the creative muscles. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, so you’ll see a lot more of them.

Playing with Brushes app brushes

Crosshatching with Brushes on ipad

I have loved crosshatching since I was a kid. There is something very relaxing and mediative to me, so I was really excited to see the Brushes app on ipad has lovely brushes that let me do it digitally.

Nodes created in ArtRage on Ipad

I was thinking about organizing the parts of my life and business in a way that was OK for me. I’m not a grid girl, filling in structured boxes doesn’t work for me. But I do like to keep things structured in alternative ways. So this felt right. If I can create nodes with the big important chunks, and allow the smaller part to live in the spaces between.
